Privacy policy
Last updated October 25, 2026
Glassfront Web builds websites for local businesses. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, who sees it, and how you can see, fix or delete it. In short: we collect as little as we can, we use it only to talk to you about your website, and we never sell it.
Who we are
Glassfront Web is a business name of Aftercare AI Inc., an Ontario corporation. Aftercare AI Inc. is responsible for the personal information described here. Our privacy contact is Avid Tamimi, who you can reach at privacy@glassfront.ca.
What we collect
When you ask for a call-back
The form on our home page asks for your business name and phone number, and lets you add your name, email, current website and a note. We use these details to call you back about your website, and to send you a preview by email if you ask for one.
When we look up local businesses
We find businesses to contact from public sources, mostly their Google Business Profile and their own website: the business name, phone number, address or service area, hours, website and public ratings. This is business contact information, used only to contact the business about its website.
When you talk or write to us
We keep short notes from our calls and the emails we exchange, so we remember what you asked for and when to follow up.
When you become a client
To build your site we use the logo, photos and text you send us. Payments are handled by Stripe: we see your name, email, the amount and whether the payment went through, but never your full card number.
When you open a preview
If we build you a free preview, we record when it was opened and whether you asked to take it down or to stop hearing from us. Previews come down by themselves after 30 days.
On this website
This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Like every website host, our hosting providers keep basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To call or email you about your website, a preview or a request you made.
- To build, host and update your website if you become a client.
- To send invoices and keep the records Canadian tax law requires.
- To honour requests to stop contacting you.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for anything unrelated to your website.
Software and AI tools
We use software tools, including AI assistants, to research public business information, build previews and draft messages. A person reviews every email before it’s sent. We don’t put payment details or sensitive personal information into these tools.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers we use to run the business, and only what they need to do their job:
- Our app and hosting platform (Base44) and the infrastructure behind it, which store call-back requests and our notes.
- Our email provider, for the messages we exchange with you.
- Stripe, to take payments.
- The AI services built into the software tools described above.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there may be accessible to the courts and authorities of that country. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Phone calls and emails
Avid calls businesses about their websites on weekdays, within the hours set by the CRTC, and always says who he is and why he’s calling. If you ask us not to call you, we add your number to our do-not-call list within 14 days and keep it there for at least 3 years and 14 days, as the CRTC requires. Every marketing email we send has a link to stop hearing from us, and we honour it right away.
How long we keep it
- Free previews: taken down after 30 days, or sooner if you ask.
- Call-back requests and call notes: only as long as we need them to follow up or serve you. We review our records at least once a year and delete what we no longer need.
- Invoices and payment records: at least 6 years, as Canadian tax law requires.
- Do-not-call and unsubscribe requests: as long as needed to honour them.
How we protect it
Our records are kept in accounts protected by passwords and two-step sign-in, and only Avid has access to them. We collect only what we need, and we delete what we no longer need.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time. Email privacy@glassfront.ca and we’ll answer within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may keep what the law requires us to keep.
Questions and complaints
Please contact us first at privacy@glassfront.ca and we’ll try to fix it. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
